I completely agree with your statement. The only reason I could think of was maybe Dano needed a rest? I know they are professional hockey players but the kid could be running on fumes? There is no logical explanation otherwise. Hopefully we buy out Boll this summer so we don't give HCTR the option anymore.

When healthy, the Jackets are overall a better team than NYI. Not a knock against them, they've been a good story. Will be interesting to see who finishes where next season though. Metro division will be most competitive division with NYR, Pens, Caps, NYI and of course a healthy Jackets team.

I think the biggest difference is in goal...Halak is a competent NHL goalie but nothing special (eons ahead of anything the Islanders have had in a decade) while Bobs is easily top ten when healthy. Isles do have some very nice pieces on offense and defense.

My best bud is an Isles fan...told me this morning this game is making him nervous.

CBJ won't buy out Boll and doubt they find a buyer for him this off-season. I think we are stuck with him for two more years

I could see scratching Morin for Boll, but Dano? What the actual ****!?!? He's been magic with Hartnell and Wennberg. And what makes mores sense, putting Boll in a meaningless game, or giving Dano more NHL experience?

Another head shaking move by HCTR, unless you're trying to lose the game I guess...

We've had a lot of trouble with their speed and physicality. Shoe's on the other foot when we face face the Islanders. Going to be a good test for the young players. The importance of this game is learning how to beat teams like this.

I can handle sucking at home.
I can handle paying 9 bucks for a beer.
I can handle winning and improving our draft position at the wrong time.

But...But...as a partial season ticket holder for the first game in a while. I CANNOT...CANNOT underscore how angry I am that a promising young player (really the only reason to follow the CBJ at this point) is being benched for some sorry meatface that does nothing on the ice.

You're welcome. For me, once a team is out of the playoffs, the only joy I get out of games is seeing the future play well.

Put in scratch Dano idiotic decision. Although, if Boll and Morin will score tonight, i understand it. I don't believe in finish tanking and don't think that Dano need rest. Words Richards is a joke.
Maybe some other reason is this decision about which we don't know now?
