But seriously folks, although the Jets haven't had a sound defensive plan since... well, ever, Hellebuyck needs to also look in the mirror. He has let in as many weak goals as Pavelec. At least it seems that way. The coaches need to share the blame because they are the ones who draw up the x's and o's for the defensemen, and Lowry is the one not giving Pav..., er I mean Hellebuyck enough rest. Comrie has been very good this season. It's crazy that they've played Hellebuyck into the ice.

When you have Connor, wheeler and Scheifele: three of our highest ATOI players rating V poor defensively, along with bad overall team defensive play. It equalizes or trumps the supposed offensive talent.

I'm also putting it out there: other teams have caught up or surpassed is in terms of talent since our 17-18. Compare the wild then vs now, or blues, or Avs for instance.
