Trying to understand, does it get you pumped up? Or maybe make it more like an event and "epic"? I think it loses it's impact after the first few times, and that was probably decades ago. But that is me, of course.

You take that back! The games usually start at 1 am for us Swedes... and it gets worse if we're travelling to a team in the pacific divison. These games are AMAZING for us. It sucks staying up until 03.30-4 am when you have work in the morning.
