The obesity one is actually more hereditary than the autoimmune one
Really? Is that because the actual disease is hereditary and the obesity just triggers it or are you saying that obesity is hereditary? I don’t think obesity is hereditary. Perhaps hereditary was the wrong word, I don’t know the word for something that just manifests through no fault of your own vs something due to lifestyle

It's human nature. You dominate a bad team and get up 2 goals. You let off.

It's been an issue all year for us. You have to crush their will with another goal or two.

The Red Wings got a little bit of hope and confidence on our last lazy PP. I don't think it was out of the blue.

Larkin skating away from Frankie V reminded me of Patrick Muldoon walking away as Casper Van Dien throated Denise Richards after winning the jump ball game

It’s multi-factorial. Of course obesity is a huge risk factor for type 2 diabetes but non-obese people can still develop it. There are certain populations of people who are more at risk. Type 1 is caused by the immune system attacking the pancreas, there are some genetic links to making you more at risk for autoimmune conditions, but surprisingly type 2 has shown a stronger hereditary pattern.

Bauer is owned by Nike, so...
I don’t think they are anymore actually
Nike Bauer stuff was some of the best looking hockey gear ever though. I got 2 free top of the line sticks a couple years ago (well they gave me one and I broke it within the warranty period, I fixed it though and got a second one free) because there was a recall on some Nike Bauer stick for dangerous led in the paint when I was a kid lmao

Larkin just throws a lot of late hits, doesn't he...
Larkin is a very chippy player who crosses the line in the style of the old Red Wings teams: "legal interference" = "we do it so often they can't possibly call us for all of them." Sums up Larkin's hits often.

I don’t know but Bauer equipment feels & looks so much cheaper lately.

Bauer skates are still the best on the market, IMO. I prefer the Supreme line. CCM and True really seems to have the edge everywhere else lately. I’ve never liked Warrior and I miss Easton.

I'm a mission first stick player, but Bauer skates are at the top.
