And I’ll tell you another thing Trocheck has to be more defensively responsible. He’s the center. He’s playing with a 21 year old offensive kid and Panarin. He can’t be floating at the blue line all game waiting to go go go. He’s gotta come down low and help the dmen. He’s gotta backcheck harder than those two. He doesn’t. He’s been lazy backchecking all to often lately. He’s gotta be the safety net on that line.

He's covering no one, stick in the air, legs not moving. And that's him every time the puck isn't on his stick in the offensive zone. I'm glad he's scoring and he's got his swagger going but the effort has been diminishing all season and it started pretty low to begin witb
