Post-Game Talk: GAME 76 - Le Tank continue - 7 défaites réglementaires consécutives, 10 au total - Habs 4 BRUINS 1

I didn't think it was possible for Lohrei to get worse as the season went on. All the extra ice time has done nothing for him. His offense is grossly overrated as well and not worth the terrible player his is in the D zone.

Hope he works harder this off season to get stronger and push back a little

I'm thinking Lohrei may need "a rest" next game.

His nickname is going to be Minus 3.

Some Bruins after the game tonight

I'm not totally down with so-called tanking. Look at Lane Hutson and the impact he has had, drafted 62nd overall. I dig all you guys and gals, but there's something off-putting about hoping for the B's to lose.

Take solace that a high pick is coming, but just as there are unwritten rules to fighting, I'd be in favor of a code in which we don't express satisfaction or desire in losing. In other words, let's not anger the hockey gods. ;)

This team isn't this bad; they are enduring a year in which every possible break has gone against them. That's life.

If you look at even winning NHL rosters, they all have marginal depth players. The B's problem is, due to lack of high end talent, almost everyone has to punch above their weight.

I'm a bit sentimental and I like them as players/people - the likes of Peeke, Wotherspoon, Koepke, Lohrei, among others, are decent players and good people. If slotted properly (lower on the depth chart), they are serviceable.

I sometimes add musical tidbits, so here goes: Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls when the fights broke out was solid. I know in Canada a certain percentage of music played has to be Canadian; either way, it was awesome hearing Bryan Adams. I also dug the Canadian anthem sung in French. I don't speak it, but it's aesthetically pleasing on the ears.

Bruins have a pair of 2nds this year to so they have a shot at players b4 that range too.

I want them to lose as much as necessary to get the highest possible pick, but not so much that it bleeds over into next season. A win here next game is needed for a moral boost.

This has to be the most brilliant shift to a tank I've ever seen in hockey. Man this team is bad.

If you don't count the Pasta-Zacha-Geekie line and you don't count the injured guys Kastelic Lindholm and McAvoy is there anybody on the rest of this roster where you'd say I definitely want that guy on next year's team?
I can't think of one.

I don't think so.Sweeney will be shedding players and adding others not to mention players out now be back.Main thing now is locking up best pick they can & winning hurts that.
