If mcdrai is healthy and pickard starts I would have said maybe they have a chance to go on a run. But as it stands if everyone isn’t healthy and obviously skinner starts, no shot. lol
I've seen Pickard stop so many shots tonight that The Muffin Man would turn into rebounds. I don't think we win this game with CROTT's son in net. Too many shots that would be "not his fault" goals.

last year was a miracle. Could see this coming a long ways away, and that's not even factoring in playing in a brutal playoff series with little ability to push back and defend yourself. This is why we need Fred and Kane to come back.
Not saying Drai's injury tonight was a lack of toughness, but it's better to keep our injuries to freak occurences and mitigate us getting bullied.

The worst possible thing that could happen tonight occurred. Draisaitl reinjured. he was getting banged up all game. why even have him out there?

Drai was looking not so great from the start of the game. He was reacting weirdly to small bumps. That fall on missed tripping call and him stepping on the puck likely reinjured him. Med staff that cleared him to play might need to do a better job.

Clinching what? First place, again, isn't realistic. Its the exact same thinking that caused the org to keep playing Drai the last time this occurred thinking they could get first. Just shut him down. Be healthy as possible for playoffs. NOTHING is at stake now. These games are meaningless.

This will be the 3rd straight season Drai has been injured or playing injured late in the season or in the playoffs after being pretty much healthy before that. Might be starting to feel the wear and tear from playing A LOT of hockey, a physical brand, and of a guy nearing 30.

A playoff spot, once we have that X marked I don’t even care if we forfeit all the games. I do agree with you though, the teams below us will catch a few L’s and we’ll clinch eventually

Landing smack on his lower back didn't help any either. As another poster mentioned though Drai was hurt multiple times in this game and we don't need that. At any point earlier they could reassess and rest him. Drai took himself off and you thats bad as he never does that.
