20 seconds left, why not send a low % stretch pass to a well covered Corey Perry of all people?

If this team ever wins anything it will be in spite of this kind of insane stupidity. Bouchard shouldn’t be playing in the last minute of periods in tie or one goal games if he doesn’t have the wherewithal to know that’s f***ing dumb.

I swear, Bouchard has about 500 of those unforced giveaways this season. There's just no way you can give this guy $10m+/yr and I'm a big fan of his offense.

It’s infuriating how we always insist on playing down to our opponent. Other teams have no trouble blowing these teams out of the water to the tune of 7-8 goals. Why can’t we do the same?
 
Not sure what thinking went behind pairing Walman and Bouchard. Horrible combo.

LA would be up 4-0 already. We like our 1 goal games.

Podkolzin had good 5 or 6 takeaways in the period. J.Skinner made some nice pases

Exerting effort when they feel like they don’t need to is a challenge for this group.

You can set a clock to this playing pretty much any bottom 5 team.

Those kinds of plays aren’t even “defensive” in the sense he got beat or made a coverage error. He’s simply stupid. He had time to read that and still did it.

Even if that’s McDavid, that stretch pass was utterly dumb with where everyone was on the ice, the score, and with the time on the clock. When it’s Perry it’s inexcusable.

Meanwhile teams like the Avs, Leafs, Kings, and Lightning would put up a touchdown. I guess our guys don’t have the stat-padding mentality of the stars on the top teams. I really wish we had that killer instinct.
