Its almost impossible to get excited about a game against SJ. How much changes within a decade? Man we play these mooks 3X still.

Adding to the excitement is the 8:30 start. Based on how I’m feeling I’m going to have to battle to get through the first period let alone the game.

Starts after 7 local in the PST zone should be banned. Makes a ton of sense from pretty much every perspective. Instead we get the 8:30 times with the added benefit of the fact they drag their ass to drop the puck there too for whatever reason.

Remember that “insider” Eklund who gave himself a rumor rating from E1-E5? E1 was no chance and E5 was the teams were faxing the paperwork in…its in reference to that lol.

So many years after he was big he released a great album with some sleeper tracks. Don't think it got the love it deserved. Real catchy song to boom out the speakers driving on a summer day. Heard him do this one live a couple times. Just kicks ass. Got no rotation in the crap music era. But Kim had a lot of bangers and a great setlist.

I always wanted an OPP hat like he rocked
in his PL video. And then when I found out he had a skullet (the Al Iafrate hairdo), I said no thanks to hats.

Games taking so long to complete now too. Since the 4Nations the NHL is sneaking in longer ad breaks. I swear. Also the games aren't ready at end of commercial break. Players just standing around. Debrusk mentioned as well seems like everytime its taking 45seconds to drop the freaking puck. I've noticed this too. Just drop the puck already. Its like a game. Fake, fake fake fake. You can see players getting pissed off at it. In all though contributing to some games taking 3hrs.

I remember looking at those guys all balding in their 20's thinking I gotta sow some oats fast....I remember looking at the covers thinking these guys escaped the asylum and then you listen to the lyrics. loved the music but they were a bit out there. The lyrics were so odd it just made you listen

Pickard should and hopefully becomes our starter. It's important to keep him confident off his 2 big wins. It's also very important to get him used to a workload.

It's also important that this game is a win in a winnable game.

If there's any consideration to start Calvin in gane 1, then he plays enough to keep sharp, but also get enough rest. That's 2:1 with Rodrigues or 1:1 with Stu.

Max Webster I associate with my initiation to cutting school parties mid 70's. Cheap stereos, cheap beer and not a care in the world. Yeah the louder the better. "Oh shit we blew up another speaker"
