Rodrigue should be starting tonight.

Walman with 4 goals against his old team.

Nah...he shouldn't.
Pickard should and hopefully becomes our starter. It's important to keep him confident off his 2 big wins. It's also very important to get him used to a workload.

It's also important that this game is a win in a winnable game.

Starrtng Pickard was the right play

Touche. I'll revise my comment...For those of us out center it almost starts on Friday.

Growing up in Edmonton Waterloo would have been "out east" but here it is central Canada. I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around that.

I was just having a little fun. Waterloo would certainly be viewed as out east to most of us in Alberta.

If the team is even a little bit serious about it's own ambitions it has to have this one.

Simply no excuses.

It's a good test of where their heads are at.

If they show up and take a professional approach, put the work in, focus on managing the puck, and win by multiple goals like they should, then I think their head is in the right place.

If they show up and do the normal thing when they play bad teams where they toss the puck around like idiots, play a cute game because why not, and generally f*** the dog, then I don't know what to think of this team anymore.

For normal equivalent teams in our position they paste the Sharks tonight and do it twice more. Us? Wouldn't at all shock me if we went 2-1 in our games against them with the 2 wins being OT stinkers where we barely get by and the other a no show night.

If Askarov was starting I wouldn't be surprised to see the Oilers get goalied again, no excuses if it's Georgiev though.

edit: Ah shit, no Georgiev at the morning skate so it'll probably be a goalie nobody has ever heard of. Getting goalied is back on the board.
