Should have been Jones/Trouba bottom pairing but not worth talking about really cause never gonna happen.

If we are being truly idealistic it should be Jones-Gustafsson, that pairing was very good before Gus got hurt.

Fine maybe he will get less overall ice time at least. The coach is never gonna scratch him if he's healthy.
Also gives us a legit 2nd pair again in Miller/Schneider.

This is what I don't get about hockey players sometimes. Don't just heal, but get better enough to be effective. It's especially shitty in the playoffs when players play hurt and you're just basically gimping your team at that point.

He certainly isn't our most consistent player. Sparks of greatness but periods of knucklehead like ineptitude. He needs a real steady partner, someone like Schneider. Maybe that would work.

The NHL is the best league in the world. WTF would anyone be allowed to play bad at all? It's one thing if another player makes a great play. When you make plays that suck, that's unacceptable.
