Also, I take one game off, and there are only half the amount of posts in the last GDT? Unacceptable. Lol.

Here is your Keith Morrisson-narrated introduction to tonight's game:

And so it begins a new day with the thrilling anticipation of the next chapter of this storied rivalry between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. But, no, this isn't going to be just another ordinary affair of the regular season. This particular Game 75 is filled with scintillating postseason implications, as the big-city boys in blue from across the Hudson River traverse into small-town Newark to take on their mortal enemies -- whom Wayne Gretzky once called "a bunch of Mickey Mouses." Oh, you should have seen the looks on the faces of the Devils citizenry. Their burning anger, their urge to avenge the verbal transgression by the Great One, hockey's usually diplomatic ambassador.

But tonight is about who takes control. Control of second place in the NHL's Metropolitan Division. The small-town folks who root for the second-place Devils have been enjoying the fruits of a great regular season, but there lurk the big, bad Rangers, who are now within striking distance. A striking distance so close, you can feel its tension tighten as the hours and minutes continue to wind down to game time.

Will the Rangers raise Kane? Or will the Devils get their slice of Bread? Maybe, just maybe, instead of Patrick Kane or Artemi Panarin, it will be Mika Zibanejad or Chris Kreider who will lay the smackdown -- borrowing from pro wrestling parlance. And, perhaps, the smallville citizenry will witness a big-city murder committed by Jacob Trouba on one of their own.

Someone should call the sheriff's department just to be ready, because there could be a bloodbath. One thing's for sure, this story between the Rangers and Devils will have many unexpected twists and turns. You'll just have to tune in and watch what unfolds. And so, we continue with this edition of Dateline, "In Defiance of Devil's Night."
