I don't see it with Harpur, he does nothing well out there, out of position, slow, not physical enough for his size, first pass is awful, i have no positives for his game. I'd prefer Jones, Robertson or even Hajek.

yea i'm not a huge fan but as a 3rd pairing dman i don't expect much. think for gallant he's less likely to make the ridiculous pinch or pass even if it sacrifices some mobility. fair to debate, i'd prefer to have a diff options for matchups like this where he just can't keep up. peoples wishes may be granted now tho

The Devils are a bad match up for the Rangers. I feel like they always have a hard time contending with their speed. Need to find a way to slow down the game.

Rangers have a big advantage in net, but that's about it in my opinion. I know fans are excited for the series, but the Devils have me nervous, even the struggling Devils.

We will see if they can beat the Rangers 4 times in a series.

yea but I think most of us were worried this was a bad matchup for us and this game seems to be confirming that. but still plenty of game to go

so far for sure, still think this is diff than a playoff game but certainly hasn't been an encouraging start
