Giving up two consecutive breakaways on the PP was very stupid. Batherson horse collaring that guy in the offensive zone was stupid.

If we win against them next game we might have a chance to leap frog them if we keep wining and they lose some games.

But even if we won today vs Tampa , I prefer facing Leafs in 1st Round they might be more dynamic offensively but their Dman/goalie are less good , they obviously are a soft team too.

100% agree, he has been getting as many if not more scoring chances than any other player. I like his speed and the way he battles for the puck, he needs to get one in and get the monkey off his back, must be hard for his confidence not scoring since his arrival.

Ottawa has three really good lines that play their role well, they need Brady back to get that 1st line to start rolling again. Greig was all over it again tonight, both Pinto & Greig look like they are developing into top six players, they are already very good 3rd line players. Hopefully, they give Halliday some games soon, even on the 4th line would do. After watching that Washington game, that could be a preview of what the playoffs could be like, I wonder if they will bring MacEwan back, he at least provides some much needed toughness to this lineup.

That last PP we got was pretty embarrassing on the lack of execution. It was a downright miracle that Tampa didn't get a shorthanded goal. Great bounce back game from Ullmark. I assume Tkachuk will be out for the Florida game too.

And even if that line had a poor game, Perron was the best of the 3 tonight and doesn’t deserve to be relegated to the 4th line. He’s been very good lately.

Zetterlund has done literally nothing to bump down Perron who stirs the drink on that Cozens line. They are succesful because Perron is a dawg on the forecheck and wins a lot of puck battles.

I could see that line not doing well at all with Zetterlund.
