I'm guessing because they we're the Thrashers for like 10 years, til 2011. Still that's a long time to not play the Kings in LA...ah well they suck anyways.

Jets came back in 2011-2012 but were in the eastern conference, LA only played them once in Winnipeg, lost 1-0.

2012-2013 was the shortened season, didn't play any eastern conference team, didn't play winnipeg.

This season we've only played them twice so far and both times were in Winnipeg. It's the first time the "Jets" have been in LA since they were last in winnipeg back in 1996.
