I guess you like when we get scored on when he's doing some boneheaded plays or take stupid penalties
I like when he crushes guys and sticks up for his teammates. I like the fact he's a presence back there, and not nearly as bad as some of you wanna make him out to be. All Savard does is suck. Matheson makes tons of mistakes. It happens. But X is buillt different and provides something that come up big in games like these.
He was absolutely improving and playing well through the earlier months. He has a down turn and Marty is quick to bench the guy.

It's soft.

That was such a great steal by Slafkovsky on Caufield's goal. Suzuki's move was just sick.

I love our #1 line. They complement each other so well when they're going.

it makes me confident that we'll be able to to let Demidov settle in and take charge of his own line without the pressure of being on the first with suzi and facing top opposition right away.

They haven't been clicking lately though. Suzuki's been awesome and the other two have had their moments. But it's been a few games.

I blame myself. They had a killer game and I declared "We have a number one line. That is all." Since then, it's been off.

Just like closing the tank thread. Some things you just don't mess with.

Hutson played more than half the period, that would explain parts of it

kid is already at 18:22 TOI

Savard '' benched '' by the way, Struble got a couple of shifts with Lane.

Struble 10:24
Savard 6:31

Technically, he's not benched. He's just not playing a lot. He played 3 minutes in 1st. 3 minutes in 2nd. He's basically in the lineup to PK.
