I’m sure I’m not the only one here thinking that every single game until the end of the season is do or die?
I have a feeling the WC 2 spot will be decided on the last day of the season.

Unfortunately for the Rags and the BJs, they have a pretty difficult schedule ahead of them. They'd be lucky to go.500. So imo, all the habs need to do to make the playoffs is go over at least .500 for the rest of the season to make the playoffs. Getting 4-5 pts out out the next 3 games would be massive

We're seriously not playing Xhekaj against the Bruins?? f*** this.

Struble is better for the team now considering his chemistry with Hutson and better puck-possession numbers.

What I'd personally do is scratch Pezzetta and play Xhekaj as a forward and defenseman in a pinch this game, ala Dandenault years ago.

But MSL does MSL things, and we have to take the bad alongside the good.

It's all part of the process and we should accept it and roll with it.

Hockey writers are such boring garbage heaps. "Pezzetta, who played his best..." The worthless platitudes that don't reflect the actual on ice product end up mudding discussions.
Engels is the most dislikable person in Habs media. I'll never forget when the clown said "Habs fans have wanted Lecavalier for so long and now finally have him" as if he came with a time machine to be a player. Don't think any Habs fan was begging for him to come as an advisor who joins for a Zoom meeting once a week while sipping margaritas at his beach house in Florida all day.

The problem with Pezzetta energy is that he's like the one guy who laugh 5 minutes after the joke is made. He's always behind the play and he hits players who are already not involved in the play anymore.
Gets paid for 5 minute's of work

The Sheriff has been shot you'll have to default on the deputy i'm afraid.
Maybe they’ll play him on the road thinking he won’t try and get the crowd going as much who knows. D are playing well, high stakes, hard to take Struble out.. Savard is RD.. Tough one.

He provided at least 37% of the entertainment for me until Hutson came along so I miss him too.

Xhekaj needs to focus-up on what he can control right now, and get back to it harder when he gets another opportunity.

But Xhekaj's play wasn't good in some recent games like against St. Louis, so that, compounded by Guhle's return, meant that he earned his demotion to the pressbox.

He might have been entertaining when the team was painful to watch, and f*** was it horrible to watch those 2022-2024 teams at times, but right now Xhekaj isn't helping us win games over Struble, and that's the only thing that matters in this last stretch of games.

Xhekaj should be in over washed up Savard. Politics. Who plays in the playoffs?? Xhekaj is MADE for playoff hockey.

Nothing against Pezzetta. He's a warrior. Not very good, but a warrior. Doesn't hit or hit anymore... Warrior. But play Roy or Kapanen.

I don't know if this has been posted yet

EDIT: Never mind, it was posted in the Fowler thread. I'm gonna leave it here because I like looking at it

My francais is not very bon so I am not sure whether according to the article St Louis is implying that Arbs is not taking it professionally.

«Il n'est plus une recrue, il devra gérer ça comme un professionnel, se garder prêt et dans de bonnes dispositions mentalement. Les choses changent vite», a-t-il expliqué.
