Imagine defending Pezzetta and using not playing for 30 games as an excuse. He hasn't played in 30 games because whenever he plays he doesn't warrant being played again.

You can criticize him all you want, he's been succeeding and embarrassing you guys on a regular basis though. Attacking Pezz is where you guys are wrong, he's playing 5 mins a night, of course he isn't up to speed. Here's also a13th forward, what a ridiculous person to hate on.

Nothing to do with hating him. We just need to find a better solution for the playoffs. There's not many games left to do that.

Pezz is not in any plans past this season, but for some reason, his energy is good. God damn, he brings 60 minutes of energy to the team while on the ice for just 5 minutes a night.

He must be a hell of a cheerleader on the bench! We had Karl Alzner sharpening skates that one year; maybe Pezz is great at snapping on those replacement blades lol. Or maybe he gives oxygen to Savard or a piece of chicken or something lol.

Your average NHL journeyman > Pezz at this point of his career. He tries hard, but isn't a real NHLer and never has been.

Pezzetta like won't get a contract tendered this Summer, and he'll be allowed to walk right to UFA.

Anyways, I hope we beat the Bruins tonight. It would be what's best for both franchises.

The Bruins get to draft as high as possible, we get to make the playoffs for the first time since 2021, everybody profits.

But I get the feeling that this will be a closer game than it should. And that's about where I stand right now on this game.

I don't like Engels either, but what can he say in this case if he has zero info?

It's not like he can magically create content.

But yeah, I agree on the whole that Engels is a bit too "syrupy-sweet" and unclear in his wording, and that he comes across as quite a bit "fake" when he reports on stuff.
