I don’t know that there really is any trade connection between the Flyers and Primeau, other than Hughes honouring a promise he made to Primeau that he would give him an audition. Hughes may have chosen this game on account of Primeau having family and friends there.

No, it's pro-rated to per game rate. Plus, signing bonus.

This is not « normal ». You should want Farrell to show skill, Primeau to do well and so on. 5th, 6th, 7th makes no difference in a lottery world. Odds are the team ahead of you wont have same evaluation on players after Big 2.
