Good defence. Offence, not so much. I'm thinking Johansen needs Foligno or Dubi on his line. We aren't keeping the puck long enough for him to do anything with it.

Slow for most of the first period. Liked how they seemed to pick up steam in the last three to five minutes. More intense hitting than I'm used to seeing, which I'm sure is by design.

Can we please just stop the intermission interviews in the NHL? It's not like the NBA where the average IQ is hovering 40 and you might get some lulz. NHL players are smart, the league is Canadian-heavy atmosphere (passive-aggressive off cam cliche/boring/non-controversial at all costs on) combined w/ the fact that there is zero benefit for a player if he gives an honest answer to any question...I've never seen a hockey player interview besides Avery in my life that was anything but pure cringe for everyone involved.

They're not gonna give us real sh**, period.

"gotta get pucks in deep"

ever NHL player ever

Boller w/ a good shot and a hit that broke the puck up. Looking strong out there.

Please give this guy a regular spot. Not necessarily saying for RJ.

Go Cam! As I said before he seems to score more when he's on the ice rather than the press box

Hockey players are not that smart. They are just more conformist than NBA players. They are modeling "team player" in interviews, which is boring as ****. The smartest players like Joffrey Lupul are the ones who manage to model "team player" while saying something interesting.

This has been a good period so far. Calvert showing some moxie out there.

Also, Colorado announcers said the Jackets had more hits in the first than any other team all season. Rough stuff.
