Lake Erie is smoking hot right now. 4-2 and 5-1 wins the last two games and up 4-1 in the second period tonight. Impressive three game stretch right now. Over that three games Milano has 4 Gs, Zaar has 2 Gs and 4 Pts and Andy has 5 As.

Everyone here knows I've been beating the Zaar drum for years. I really want to see him in Columbus soon.

Jackets on track to give up 78 shots. :laugh:
Korpi with the same save % - .923 will give up 6 goals. :help:

I love how every goal Korpi gives up is excusable. Amazing really.

Not sure I follow ? Was he supposed to save that puck off a double deflection ? Or Neal's howlitzer in upper corner? He single handily kept us in the first . Competition is awesome , Bob will have to up his game to keep his job , and that's a great problem to have

Another Rimerism that is annoying.

Jody, how big are those saves Korpi made in the first period now?

Very big else the Preds would have 26 goals.

I know the point he is trying to make but it just rubs me wrong.

From the same guy who said Hartnell was good as gone, but take it for what you will

@THWMark
Am told that there is a reasonable expectation that Zach Werenski will play "a couple" NHL games this season for #CBJ.

It is, but the shot from Neal was stoppable. Prout will Prout, so...

Point being, Bob has a teammate knock his stick out of his hands and gives up a goal, its all 'bob sucks'. Korpi gives up a goal, some circumstance ALWAYS causes it to be not his fault. Its been that way for months and its infuriating.

Hell, they both give up a breakaway goal, its 'bob sucks' vs. 'Korpi had no real chance'. The double standard is irritating.

Yeah but Bob makes 7.4 mill. He has to take a bit more heat.

And besides other than that mid ice goal all of Korpi's have been unstoppable - Bob on the other hand has let in a bunch of softies. :sarcasm::laugh:

It's all about expectations. One guy makes millions, the other one doesn't (yet).
