He's a beast. He's loved in the room everywhere he goes. 6'3" 225lbs of fast twitch muscle and can beat the shit out of almost any player in the league. Guy is a menace on the forecheck too. Tires the opposing defenses.

Lane Hutson is phenomenal. He’s gone head to head with Makar and Hughes, and come out on top. He’s a number one defenseman in this league already, and I genuinely feel like he’s got a shot at 60 points and the Calder. His poise, vision and hockey IQ are remarkable. I said this in the Hutson thread, but we are witnessing the birth of a superstar here.

Post was made on January 7, and I couldn’t be happier to be right. What a year we’ve seen from this phenomenal young man. Congratulations and hopefully he gets to 70!!
