Roy’s game at present isn’t suited for playing vs Fla type team, maybe it changes with experience maybe it doesn’t but he isn’t ready for it yet.

Roy's game at present isn't suited to playing in the NHL, no matter the opposition. The same goes for Pezzetta. And as for Pezz, he will likely end up sitting for most of the third period, and we will be trying to survive with 11 forwards—we have seen it over and over again.

I would have played Arber as a forward over Pezz any day of the week.

Exactly, and with what Mikkola has done, I expect the discourse in the room will be to be smart about this and hit everything you can instead of taking a stupid penality, play fast and heavy. It's going to give an extra step to their game and extra roars from the crowd.

I think we'll see the shades of the Habs early January when they we're playing a really heavy style. Until Josh, Armia, Guhle and Heineman injured themselves.

If you roster a player like Xhekaj, this is the reason why. Mikkola doesn’t have to fight Xhekaj, but Xhekaj can fight him.

Yea let Xhekaj take a 2min penalty for jumping a guy… things like that can be dealt later. Not when everygame is important for the playoff.

It's the right choice. If we started Xhekaj in this game after not starting him in Florida it looks like a retribution move & the refs will be all over Xhekaj. The silent message to Xhekaj would be go get him, son.

This way the message is clear: the game is what matters not Mikkola. Yes, he's a POS, but he didn't actually hit anyone & hopefully the refs will give him a hard time tonight.

If Montreal loses this game & Columbus wins their game (they're playing the freaking Preds) then Montreal falls to 10th.

We need a point out of this at minimum. No distractions just go out & play.
