You ever see a fight where the bigger guy just holds the other guy at bay because his arms aren’t long enough to land a punch? Thats what that period felt like.

You could replace most of this team’s forwards with the Condors players without a noticeable drop off in forward quality.

Can't help but feel like the top 6 would be better having Drai and RNH swap wingers.

RNH lets Podz and RV just be speedy forecheckers and not worry above getting the puck to Drai, while Hyman would give Drai some size to play with.

I think that was actually a decent road period. We spent most of the time in their end.

We simply won’t shoot, simplify, or go to the net no matter what happens, so it’s irrelevant in the end. Not like we got buried or anything close though. A moderate increase in effort and actually attempting to play in the middle in the o zone will pay dividends, but that requires brains and effort. Not a certainty.

They played this 50/50 feature during intermission last week. Sportsnet spends 7.7 billion dollars yesterday and starts cutting costs today, I guess.
