What are you talking about? What has Drury to warrant more time? He's f***ed up everything he's touched. He's the reason we're in this mess to begin with.

And you expect a new GM will immediately come in and know intuitively that we need to move most of our core as soon as possible?

If we fire Drury, we will be much, much more likely to end up running it back with this same group of losers again. Whatever we think of Drury and the coaching staff, letting that happen would be just about the worst case scenario. There's still some value to be had by dumping a bunch of these guys quickly.

Funny thing about last night. The here were no “Potvin Sucks” chants. There were a decent amount of Rangers fans but it seemed the Ducks fans were in full force . I guess because it was a Friday night and the team is playing better.

Was talking to some Rangers fans , told them my story, and they said they are Ducks fans also. So I was like cool. They just wear their Rangers gear when the Rangers are in town. Similar to Tampa and Florida games .

I cannot remember the last time I just didn't care to watch

No one on this team is worth rooting for.... maybe Cuylle? a middle6 power forward. that's all we got.

what a disappointing/demoralizing season
I’ve barely cared all season . I’ve caught most games but only a few minutes of each

for what it’s worth I thought Othmann had a good game yesterday. Who knew Rangers could make passes instead of rimming it around the boards endlessly

So your solution to incompetency is to double-down on it?

And actually, I totally disagree. I think with a new GM with a new perspective, he'll undo a lot of Drury's mistakes.

I could actually see the Rangers blowing out the Sharks to give the fan base some false hope before they continue with their losing.

This team is garbage and doesn't deserve making the playoffs but we're not losing all of the remaining games...right?

And yet they're still in it. Isles blew a chance to leapfrog. CBJ is down 2-1 so far, and we'll know where they stand by puck drop. Let's see if Boston can beat Detroit.

Drury has been killing our prospects since he was in Hartford, I want him out of here. The biggest failure this franchise made was moving on from Gorton and hiring this weasel. Imo it's so bad that if someone told me Pegula paid Drury, Housely and Peca to ruin the franchise I'd almost believe it. This group has no idea how to develop players, how to scout potential trade targets, how to recognize issues within a group and deal with them, continuing with these bozos will end up with us shipping every decent young prospect we have out of here for 30 year olds. Key isn't this bad, Lafreniere isn't this bad, Schneider isn't this bad, Trochek, Zibanejad, Kreider, Fox all these players are shells of their former selves under this GM it's time to move on and get the guys that have a future here turned around. Time to turn the page before this gets much worse. We're likely making deals for Kreider, maybe some more, I dont want a Kakko like return for him, I want the Rick Nash return, let someone else make this deal

Yes if they hire someone who actually knows how to use data, understands basic asset management and age/productivity curves, and has a modern philosophy on the game of hockey.

The current duo is literally the architect of the late 2010s Red Wings and a guy who green lit Sammy Blais for Buchnevich

If your lonely enough to stay up for this, pray that the NY Rangers are losing going into the 3rd period.

And receive no powerplays.

If you have a booty call that your thinking of moving on from... Do an extra shot, turn up the Barry White music, and rip the TV plug out of the wall.

Start that "it's not you it's me" process tomm

Even if it's not a sure thing booty call, you have a better chance of scoring than the Rangers PP.
