I basically only watch 87 when he plays the Kings & during the olympics. Have NOT watched enough about the guy to say everyone is wrong... But I do not fully understand.

On a side note, like most I always thought Martinez deserved a more consistent shift... But man he is REALLY killing it now.
Also, really liking that Pearson kid, just in general.

WRT Pens announcers- so true so true; almost like a comedy duo. Laughable really- I don't particularly like Jimmy Fox either but for entirely different reasons. Unlike these two clowns, he, at least, appears to know a little something about hockey. Kings' play by play guy though is one of the best in the business IMO.

I catch enough Pens games on the NHLN and NBCSN. Crosby seems to be best at getting those quick shots and knowing where to put the puck for teammates to score. The Kings have done a good job of keeping pressure on him so he doesn't have room to do what he wants.

Seems to happen more when the Kings play the Eastern Conference teams. Must be a 'the bigger Kings from that other conference might hurt the smaller skilled players of the East' thing or something.
