No doubt, I always try to watch his pre/post game interviews. You gotta love that we are just piling on wins and really chasing down 1st place when everyone knows (fans and the team included) that there’s still another gear this team can hit.
I’m excited for playoffs, but I’m in no rush. A lot of exciting hockey going on right now with the standings the way they are.

I'm really, really happy with where Rantanen's game is/where it's headed for us. Ever since a bit of chemistry started to develop he's been hustling every shift. That play where he forechecked & threw a hit on Oleksiak to separate him from the puck, then used his body to cut him off and setup Hintz for a prime opportunity was just fantastic yesterday. He deserved at least 2 assists in that game.
I know he will have his games I'm sure where the hustle isn't there as much, but i honestly feel a lot of his game earlier with us was spent figuring things out. Especially in the D zone he spent as much time watching our guys move as he did their guys. Came off as him standing around a lot but watching him now it feels like that was him trying to process things.
Also, he brings some of that swagger to his game that we've been missing. That "I'm really f***ing good and I know it so give me the puck now" type play. Superstar level shit. I hope we don't coach that out of him lol. It's that type of mentality that makes him such a good playoff performer
And his passing....man his passing is off the charts. So good

agreed. also, i'm not certain who he was talking to, but at one point during a break on the ice, i saw him clearly giving someone instructions as to where they were supposed to be. great to see that level of confidence
