I actually became an Ozzy fan first and then BS. Ozzy was kicked out of Sabbath when I was like 13 years old. Blizzard Of Ozz got me hooked.

Halen had their day, but Sabbath was foundational. Bet Eddie would say the same.

He plays with the Eagles.....saw them when they were in Boston and they were great, just a tight well-crafted set of 20+ hits - Walsh was fantastic and Vince Gill blew me away

Agree about their influence but was never a fan of Ozzy . The Dio albums rule for me . He was always my guy .

Getting back to VH. My personal favorite album is the underrated Fair Warning.

Different sound for sure . I loved the first two Ozzy albums . Much better than the last few from Sab . As a drunken 20 year old stumbling around backstage at the Victoria Memorial Arena I walked into a guitar tuning room and got some stuff signed by Randy Rhodes
