Maybe, but he plays the left side and provides similar physicality. He’s a different player than Schmidt but he’s a better version of Dillon.

Schmidt imo has done what he was brought in to do imo. Decent offense and puck moving with mediocre defense. He's played about as expected. It's really Dillion, Pionk and Stanley that didn't perform to expectations on our backend.
