Kinda an insult to Panarin tbh. I get the similarities with their flashiness, but Panarin is light years better than Kane and provides and all-around effort that is significantly better. They're not in the same class of player at this time.

Kane needs to operate in space. He has no space for whatever the reason.

He's making poor reads and plays with the puck. He will get better. Continually flopping him around with different linemates is not going to miraculously help imo

The one difference is Kane is playing on 1 leg.

Im not saying Panarin isnt a talented player who will get his points. But to say he does the other things on a regular basis is blowing smoke up my ass. We have all constantly watched a lazy, non backchecking, poor passing, turnover machine panarin this season, that has costs us games. Both can be true
