Laffy is JUST over .5 points per game in 5 seasons. 190 in 371. Basically five years into his career, he’s grown from a 35ish point player to a 45-50 point player.

LOTS of blame goes to the organization, but there is no chance this kid has taken his pro career seriously. Theres so much you CAN control even if you’re not getting the usage or opportunities you want. At 20-22 years old with the money and resources he has, he could have gotten absolutely stupid strong with insane endurance if he wanted. Even if it didn’t make him faster, he could have shown up with the best conditioning possible and won battles and just been a dog on the puck and FORCED the organization to play him. You could tell from day one he was simply comfortable smirking like a 10 year vet and blowing bubbles.
