Its sad that the moment Emberson turned the puck over at Calgarys blue line we could just see the play develop. Our forwards were all deep and didn't back fast enough to take the trailer when a mistake is made.

Connor Brown didn’t take one single stride coming back to the Oilers zone on that Flames goal. Glided all the way from the Flames zone. There was another Oiler whose number I couldn’t see who put in the same effort. Every Flame that touched the puck on that sequence was wide open because our best “defensive forwards” (labelled that way because they can’t piss a drop of offence) were too lazy to skate hard and back check. What a disgrace.

This guy is legitimately one of the best goalies in the league. It would be quite the lesson for this team if he drags them into the playoffs over the Oilers...who have lost like six games because of shit goaltending. Those 12 or so points sure would be nice to have right now.

You mean besides giving a clear shooting lane to the flames player nothing he's been fantastic tonight he hasbt been getting torched every other shift.

That was on the forward being up ice as usual. Both defensemen were in the crease, the only thing you do with a guy that wide open with speed is hope and react.
