I think Celebrini not putting up as many points as a rookie d man is probably why he won't win the calder

And his injury that caused him to miss time at the beginning of the season. If Celly didn't miss those games, he wins the Calder without question.

Those factor in as well, but it’s clear based on the body language on the bench his demoralizing georgiev’s usual is
Can't argue that, its bad vibes to give up stupid goals

I still think Roman Polak is my most hated Shark ever haha that guy really bothered me

The only rookie being asked to carry his team offensively is Macklin, not to mention carry the whole damn franchise. I don’t care if Macklin wins the Calder, but I would hope that the hockey writers who vote at least recognize that one guy is literally being asked to take on the hardest matchups and lead the team offensively while the other two play sheltered roles on better, more talented teams with less responsibility.

What he is doing as an 18 year old on the worst team in the NHL is better than the guy who won it last year overwhelmingly.

Lund with his 1st is great. He seems to have a solid base to grow from to be an NHL'er down the road. I wonder if he goes the Graf route starting in the AHL to get a call to the NHL if he produces well. Maybe even ask him to kill penalties next season like with Graf and if he does well he can definitely find a lineup spot on the Sharks depending on how many moves the team wants to make.
