GDT: Game 72: Habs @ Bunch of Jerks, Fri March 28th - 7 PM | TSN2, RDS

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Standing pat was never ever ever going to be enough to survive a stretch run.
I don't think Hughes had plans for them to make a playoffs run. He didn't want to buy at the TDL only to get bounce in round 1 because the team is obviously not ready. He met the team halfway by not selling and let them do their thing with house money.

My guess is that it's the last time Suzuki goes the GM to tell him not to trade anyone at the TDL.

This team has definitely been in the mix as they have mentioned at the start of the year
They have some holes to fill which we see every night
It's a missed the playoffs which I really believe they will to me still successful year even though out of a rather had a hard draft pick

Cry all we want .Who really expected us to be fighting for a playoff spot at this point?I sure as hell didn't.Half of the season we looked like a lotto team pick. When you look at a game like this playing the Canes you see we still have a long way to go.We just don't have the guns yet .The Canes have so much more talent than we do plus they work hard and have relentless forechecking .We can hardly move out there 5 feet that one of them are on us.Even by a miracle we squeek in we won't be around long. That's just the reality of the situation.
Hey. This is HFHabs.

Put away that reason & freak the f*** out right now.
