They have been backpedaling the entire game with zero offensive zone sustained time or chances. Bad passes , back coverage and an awful team game

It's almost as if there is two teams on the ice tonight and not just the one. No one is saying the game has been a good one from an offensive point of view, the Cane's aren't giving us much, but to say the Habs weren't working or battling out there is just completely false.

Too many one and done plays, bad giveaways and turnovers, bad puck management in the o-zone... team runs around too much in general.

They arent 50/50 battles, they should be renamed 80/20 battles bcs they just dont win any.

They win battles but no one is ready to provide support when we disrupt possession. There is no 5 man unit. They run around so much chasing in the d zone that they are not ready or sometimes even aware when the turnover happens. They still have to think about what to do half the time. When we have sure possession the forwards blow the zone completely to either change or presumably wait for a hail Mary at the other blue line. There is no connection. TLDR: when they win battles they give the puck back. No wonder they are tired out.

He's been fine. The first goal was a double deflection off 2 of our players. Hall in the mid-slot with zero coverage. Aho made a great shot off a tough pass. Monty has to respect Jarvis's shot on that play too.
