Ehlers probably anticipates those plays better then anyone on the team. He’s amazing against a breakout.

Bench him. Doesn’t play in straight lines.

Still too many good chances by the Avs though 5 vs 5 though.

Two break downs defensively from the Avs first a 2-1 then leaving Ehlers all alone in front of the net. What the hell we’ll take it. Scheif engaged in the forecheck and looking alive!

It was really good. Maybe Wheels intensity/leadership when he is in the lineup rubs guys the worng way. I am not one that thinks the two are joined at the hip. I have always wondered if 55 feels being "saddled" with playing with 26 at times. I know they have been separated lately but who really knows what the issue is with 55 some nights. He has it in him. I am a fan despite his long stretches of poor defensive play. If Ovi can turn it around defensivley so can Mark.

Nice 2-1 lead after the 1st - Hope Mark can play a full 60 tonight.

Samberg looking good again. He's NHL ready.

We may just may have a group of them ready to come in and contribute next year. If we can get strong play from Perfetti, Samberg, Heinola, and Gus that will really boost the team.
