I’ll continue to piss and moan about it too as it just doesn’t make any sense. 4-17-24 already give you that in your face play but actually have offensive skill. The 4th line we field isn’t lockdown enough to offset their bankrupt offense.

I think we look a lot better tonight than last night. Ottawa's a good team.

We're getting plenty of chances and the two goals against weren't egregious failures.

So far I've liked Sillinger with Danforth and Olivier. He's winning puck races and getting the puck back to his teammates. I think we might eventually see coaches figure out that Sillinger is a better winger than center.

Voronkov hasn't been good lately so I'll say he did look good to me on several of these shifts, battling hard behind the net and driving into the crease. I love it.

Mateychuk and Werenski are looking mighty awkward together so far. But at the same time I can't say they aren't close to clicking. You can feel the offensive potential there.

Maybe we can ask Wild fans about it, but I feel like his clubs have always had so many roster limitations and injury problems that he has never had three scoring lines to work with. And now that he's got the guys he doesn't want to use them, he feels more comfortable with two plugger lines.
