Leafs probably licking their chops to play this Bruins team in round 1
Yep and I want to avoid this big time. They can score at will. Please rags tonight! Let cats and leafs kill one another . Our hope to go far is favourable matches. Maybe the leafs knockout cats and get knocked out with injuries when we play them . Cats are a menace.

They had plenty of very physical teams over the years from the late 70s through the 2000s. What exactly did they win when they had player after player like that?
You are not wrong but they need someone that can take care of things a bit better.Trent Frederic is not that guy far as just taking care of it

I haven't felt this pessimistic heading into the playoffs in awhile, it feels like the Bruins are frauds and are 1st round fodder. At least this year I have very very low expectaions come playoff time with Monty as coach and 2 goalies who have proved so far to be playoff duds.
Monty's not perfect, but, damn, he coached this team of too many average to below average players into the PO's.
He definitely gets my vote for COY.
I just don't understand the dislike for this guy.

And then we randomly lose to the Caps or something random. You know that you never know. . .

For everything he got right during last year's regular season he got wrong in the playoffs. That team lsst year was a once in a lifetime team and he got it all wrong, I will never forget that. Does anybody seriously think with him at the helm that we are going to be a tough out come playoff time.

I’m as big a fan of Marchand as there is. That being said though, you reap what you sow in this league. He plays to the edge and sometimes over. In turn, the refs rarely give him the benefit of a call going his way. He takes liberties and players get to respond with their own liberties in kind. It’s kind of how it works.
Doesn't excuse his teammates or coaches

For one thing, he choked worse than anyone else in the playoffs last year, imo.
I do remember one big CHOKE in the PO's last year. It was a certain player who missed on a breakaway, which would have given the BRUINS a 4-1 series victory vs Florida.
Am I the only one who remembers that?
Btw, that certain player has also been doing a lot of choking again of late.

I’m the least emotional poster here…

Heart rate hasn’t been above 75 in 20 years
B/P is an, at times scary, 115/75

😂

It is possible that Heinen has made bad plays.

You can still like him and admit that he’s not suited for 2nd line duty and that he makes some dumb plays.

He cost them dearly today.

was a bad play for sure, but he also tied the game, so hard to blame him for everything.
ullmark played a strong game and then gave up an untimely goal. marchand and pasta
created little to nothing. this team has a lot of holes, it's amazing they have as many
points as they do.

This team has no get up and go and where is the passion of play?? Sorry but I am sticking to what I have said many times before this team will not get past the first round, it's pathetic. Today's game was a bore fest.

Ok, so in the Civil War we’ve got:

• the pro Pasta and Anti-Pasta (get it?) folks
• the pro Monty and anti-Montys
• the pro Sweeney and anti-Sweeneys
• pro Ullmark and anti-Ullmark
• team lacks skill vs. team lacks toughness
• Pro Jack Edwards vs. anti-Jack

But let’s try to find some common ground as well:

• disdain for Carlo and Lindholm
• anything else we agree on?
