Buff quit and left $16 million on the table because he just didn’t want to play anymore, and that helped the Jets by giving them cap space. Wheeler can’t play anymore but will milk every dime he can out of the Jets.

And as much as I like the heart, it's not a smart thing to do - he's going to lose that fight every time with a good possibility of getting hurt.
If he wants to shame the team into playing with the same heart, score a couple of goals and show us what that speed can do when he turns it on -
Those are the things he does well and might get the guys going.
I hope he doesn't think he needs to do that again
Makes sense because his commentary has been awful for the most part but his Ehlers comment was truly one of the lowest of the many lowlights of his commentating career

Yes, they do need to pick it up - I wasn't shitting on Ehlers - just noting how he is most effective (rather than getting pounded).
He shouldn't be the guy getting into scraps with scrapers to lead by example - there are better ways for guys with his skill, to make a point.
Probably - I just wish he didn't do it.
Was watching the Vegas game earlier and I miss Hnidy. That dude is decent

Team needs to play like an actual “TEAM” and act like a “TEAM”. If Scheif takes shots like that Wheeler is on the other guy like a rapid dog. I don’t care if I don’t like my teammate, I’m still gonna show some dignity and stand up for the guy if need be. It’s called respect. And it earns respect. Idk what Ehlers needs to do for some in that locker room to earn his respect but if it hasn’t to this point it never will.

He didn't teach that guy any kind of lesson by getting beat on -
He can respond in other ways - I've already mentioned that and that response would be more to his strengths.
Nobody on that bench wants Ehlers in that fight - he's too valuable
