BRUINS GDT GAME 71 - THE BEAR finds his way to San Jose - NESN, ESPN+, 98.5 WBZ-FM

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Had stomach flu for two days so not sure I will make it through this one, even though it’s Saturday night might have to DVR and watch some of it tomorrow morning( real morning not 1am  ), but will try to make it through the first and see how it goes. Which team will look worse:cool:?
I hope you feel better soon

Missing the playoffs STINKS

The NHL went to 16 teams making the playoffs 45 years ago when there were only 21 teams in the league after the merger with the WHA,

Today it is 16 teams out of 32.

Obviously 16 out of 21 was absurd but in 2025 should the number be 20 out of 32 or even 24? :dunno:

The NBA has addressed this somewhat with the play-in-system

I can't fathom what the Bruins room is like right now. Everyone knows Sacco won't be back but he wasn't the problem.

Keep it at 16. I'm not interested in copying an NBA ticky-tack play-in money grab. Regular season games should matter(that's why I have the NYR-Vancouver game on at the moment.) and the playoffs stretch too far into June as it is.

I am glad Lysell is getting Khusnutdinov and Lindholm. Would prefer Mittlestadt center those 2 but that may happen before the night is done. The other nice part is that Lysell will be in the lineup until Detroit as Kastelic has gone home to Boston and they only have 12 forwards.

4 games for sure… make them count Fabian.
