Should be hard to lose to this team but I think we can do it!
My daughter will be there as the Sharks are her second team (since she moved to Calif in 2006). Back then she was a big Joe Thornton fan.

Bruins have always been her #1. She often returns to Boston when the Sharks are in town. She will wear a Sharks T shirt with her Bs zip up hoodie over. Keith R (equipment manager) told her to zip it up when she showed him her Sharks shirt .

Actually, the equipment guys remained friends with Big Joe even after all of the years. Joe, Looch and Savvy were favorites of the guys behind the bench as you can see here from the video for Matty Falconer's 1000th game (assistant Equipment manager) in 2023. We have known Matty since he was 16.

She said the Bs will probably win as the Sharks are not good.

She purchased tickets a long time ago for all of the Calif games.

Missing the playoffs STINKS

The NHL went to 16 teams making the playoffs 45 years ago when there were only 21 teams in the league after the merger with the WHA,

Today it is 16 teams out of 32.

Obviously 16 out of 21 was absurd but in 2025 should the number be 20 out of 32 or even 24? :dunno:

The NBA has addressed this somewhat with the play-in-system

I can't fathom what the Bruins room is like right now. Everyone knows Sacco won't be back but he wasn't the problem.

No.

You’re not entitled to make the playoffs.

You want to make it? Play better over 82 games. The regular season is plenty long, probably too long.

Plenty of time to sift out the contenders from the fringe teams and the lesser thans.

They’re likely expanding to 34 and then 36 clubs, at which point I may get off the ride.

This west coast trip has been a good opportunity for me to go cold turkey and not invest time in these meaningless games.

I get it that watching the Bs is not so fun now and even in good times a 10:30 pm start time is tough on us here in the East.

It is fine that you won't be watching. I just hope you don't post many posts about how "you" are not watching. We get it. See you next Fall.

I think half the teams getting in is as fair as it can be.

I’m hosting my high school girlfriends tonight for wine and pizza and to catch up, which means I will probably be awake for this one!

Heck no. Half the teams is plenty. I don’t think I’d cut it. But I definitely wouldn’t raise it.

If there’s ever a game to play Lysell it’s tonight… I’ll be awake, but if Fabian isn’t playing it’ll be background noise.
