Buffalo are the sad sacks of the NHL, missing the playoffs year after year after year has to be so depressing for the fanbase.

This will be more common because the NHL now has 32 teams and will get worse if they add more. There are currently 9 teams with streaks of consecutive missing the playoffs of 4 years or more.

Doesn't seem to accomplish much of anything on the ice, he had a nice start to the season but that was a long time ago and since his injury doesn't contribute much
