I’m having a hard time understanding why anybody is picking him up right now for an endorsement deal. He’s so polarizing he’s toxic. I’m not surprised with the closet company as he’s been doing them for a while but why would anybody start using him now? Would make me think that company is out of touch or delusional or both.

I think they had a good shot to go the final that year too if they had actually gotten a save

Bad goalies can actually make it hard for your team to score. Guys are stressed, worried about mistakes going in, overthinking etc.

The thing is, they've largely outplayed Dallas but this guy consistently leaves them behind the 8 ball with soul crushing goals so they're always pressing to compensate.

It's funny, I used to be one of the Skinner defenders not in the sense of thinking he was great or anything but not as bad as people were making him out to be but there's no defending him this season, he's the worst starting goalie in the league this season and definitely if any playoff team by a mile.

Skinner is likely cooked mentally. Certainly likely he doesn’t return as an Oiler next year, might go the Campbell route.
