GDT: Game 71: Red Wings at avs 9:00 pm et 3/25/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Really discouraging.

Really don't know what hit Raymond, is he hurt? Was looking like he was gonna hit 90 pts before four nations.
That was the one thing that I was enjoying about this season, watching Raymond breakout into a star.

Now it looks like he is what he was last year, streaky winger who produces on the powerplay, but has no idea what to do 5 on 5.

Larkin, Raymond, and Seider all look like the season has taken its toll on them. When your best players aren't your best players, March Sadness happens. Whether its mental fatigue, physical fatigue, injuries, losing hope.. Whatever it is, they need to keep it in check when February 2026 comes around so we can avoid another March Sadness. Having some consistency in net, aside from consistently bad, would help as well.

Last 15 games
Seider 5 points -7
Raymond 9 points -10
Larkin 10 points -8
Raymond has 7 goals his last 30 games
We are not making it.
Our season following the 4 Nations Tournament...

I'm encouraged about next year, the team just never got off on the right foot. They should have had a good record to start the year, considering the level of competition they had under Lalonde.

The bad start just isn't recoverable.

Not ideal then with an Olympics next season then.
