As far as fighting Subban, well Kreider. Since Reaves is out. Who else maybe Strome if he is back tonight. or Trouba.

…bought some ghost pepper tequila so I may be feeling a bit spicy literally and figuratively tonight. LGR

Update: holy shit this is spicy. I made a tequila and club to water it down so it’s pretty pleasant, would definitely make a good spicy marg, but with no sugar or anything cutting the spice it can still catch you pretty good with just club soda. And it can make your eyes water if you breath in before you sip. Kinda love it. Kinda feel it’s too novelty to enjoy frequently. But fun. Also we got the tix tonight for $32 total so… hopefully my luck rolls over to the Rangers.

He should be the center for the Panarin line, Strome sucks at center and needs to not be taking faceoffs or have the defensive responsibilities.

Strome is gone, Copp is the replacement after this season. Copp should be stapled with Panarin.

Strome and Panarin dont work.

That’s why I bought the spicy tequila. I hope we annihilate them and I get to gloat and be as obnoxious as possible. Even though, even drunk, I won’t be. I’m a perfect gentleman. Ahem.

Laf is shit in shootouts so far. Looks he goes in without a plan. He got lucky where he did a nothing move and had nowhere to go but into the goalie along the ice, and it snuck threw 5 hole. Like a one deke move to the backhand will ever beat an NHL goalie to the post along the ice. Then got another chance and made basically the same exact nothing move that he didn’t get lucky on. Chytil’s made nice moves in the SO, totally fine with GG move and rewarding him for his good play.

I've gotten on a Mezcal kick lately. I've always been a fan of the more peaty Scotches, so the smokiness is right up my alley.

Found a great way to integrate it into my favorite cocktail, the Negroni, with a couple dashes of aztec chocolate bitters.

BTW, as hard as I was on Igor. He has the ability to do something Georgiev doesn't (and many goalies don't). He can stop the bleeding. Poor start last game and then was a wall the rest of the game outside of a 2 on 0 and a perfect shot in the shootout. He did the same against the Leafs, Coyotes, and the first Blues game.

Very sad that we haven’t had a Brooklyn 99 edition yet
 
Been a while for me. Very good season so I have little to complain about. There's one item of unfinished regular season business though. Slewban has gotten away with murder this year. It's embarrassing, and a sad end to what was once an admirable career. No more. It went off the rails and hockey justice is in order. Reavo should get his pound of flesh tonight. I won't hold my breath though. It's 2022. Maybe he'll get a slap.

Reavo might eat a pound of flesh in the pressbox, depending on what they cater in, but he won;t be sending any messages to Suban, unfortunately.

Mezcal is a second behind bourbon for me. The ghost pepper tequila was just cheap-ish and intriguing.
