I get that it’s a breakaway which is never the goalie’s fault, but Georgiev never makes a save when you need it. Shesty may let in a poor goal but he will make 10 grade A saves to keep you in a game even if he’s had a bad start. Geo just straight up f***ing blows.

Shesty screwed the pooch last game, but he stopped every, single breakaway a Flyer had.

That goal is 1000% on Trouba. Georgiev is garbage, but every goalie in this league can get burned on a turnover like that.

Devils were changing. Trouba wanted to get the puck to the far side of the Devils’ blue line. Had to jump one Devils’ stick, and couldn’t do it. Putting the puck up the near side boards could have resulted in a too many men call against the Devils or, at worse, a turnover at the Devils’ blue line.
