  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

The Detroit Red Wings visit Utah two wrap up the two game season series tonight.

Utah bested Detroit back on March 6th thanks to Karel Vejmelka.

Last 10:
Detroit is 2-8-0 and currently on a 2 game slide.
Utah is 5-3-2 and currently on a 2 game win streak.

Projected Starting Goalies:
Peter Mrazek (season totals; 12-21-1, 3.35 GAA, 0.891 SV%) (with Detroit; 2-2-0, 2.51 GAA, 0.901 SV%)
Karel Vejmelka (21-18-6, 2.53 GAA, 0.907 SV%)

Playoff Watch:
The Canucks are in New Jersey taking on the Devils at 5:30pm MDT tonight. A win tonight for Utah and a loss for Vancouver would put the Hockey Club only 4 points back of St. Louis with a game in hand and only one team in between them.

How is it that you call the Canucks "lowly" when they are higher in the standings than Utah? ;)
Haha - my wife and I live in Scottsdale AZ, well we are just in the process of moving to Glendale AZ, but I'm originally from Vancouver Island Canada. That statement comes from 50 years of watching them trip over themselves. I was born in the 60's.

All we can do tonight is win and hope that other results go our way. So, I hope the Devils beat the Canucks, mainly. Stars over the Wild too, but the Wild would have to go on quite a late-season skid for us to have a chance of catching them.

Columbus vs. New York obviously means nothing to us since it's an eastern conference game.

That's funny. I was born and raised Albertan, moved to Phoenix 30 yrs. ago. I have only been back twice, but I have to go back for a wedding in August. Watched the Oilers in their hay day.

Being that I was born and raised in MI, I still wear some Red Wing and Tigers tees even though I really don't follow or cheer for them anymore. I still like their colors and logo...

I f'd up. Just realized I need to change shirts. Oops!
