Even if we do catch up tonight, this team is cooked. They've got nothing left in the tank.

Isles are dressing half their AHL lineup tonight. I understand that games aren't played on paper but it says it all that everybody else is winning while the Jackets are going to need a great 3rd to win a gimmie game.

Stop overreacting Samkow, it's not like the team has been putrid on the PP for a solid month while also failing to show up in important games during a playoff run!

Always give the other team credit .. shut it Bill .. take your telistrator down to the damn locker room and just write on it.. YOU SUCK!!! throw it at them and walk out....

It must be nice to make six figures spitting out cliches akin to a 5th grader 82 times a year.

I'd imagine he feels we should get pucks in deep as well?

I'm just so pissed about the deadline. "Protect the future of the franchise" is the new "it starts now."

Why did we trade away Gaborik again? He wasn't doing great here but we were better off with him than 2 players Richards isn't even playing and a 2nd round draft pick in a weak draft.

Nothing like a whole bunch of over-reaction on this board.

A well timed goal, or better yet, a PP goal would go a long way into giving them some life.

I prefer to get my overreaction out of the way before inevitability sinks in. It's all about timing when riding the emotional waves of Blue Jacket fandom.

Don't you guys understand CBJ is playing their 3rd game in four nights, & it's not even 4 nights since this is an afternoon game, against a team who hasn't played since Tuesday?

They also played the NYR after playing the night before in Montreal while NYR were sitting in Columbus waiting for them.

Step back from the edge. This is a tough f***ing schedule.

Do you honestly expect things to get better, though? this is the rest of the season, it's cause for concern I'd say

You know I'm not a head coach. But if I were; in this case I would lock into the locker room and say "You know I thought this was going to be a tough game, with our schedule. But I never thought I would witness this MOTHER ****ING FREAK SHOW. GET IT GOING ****ING NOW OR YOU WATCHING THE PLAYOFFS FROM YOUR COMFY RECLINERS AT HOME!!!!!".

Then I would just walk out.

Enough said.

I am, and I'm not going to go on some rant about how this team is a disgrace, or untr00, or SOJ, or country club atmosphere, or any of the other classic over reactions that some of the drama queens on here have thrown out over the years.

But we're not a playoff team. That's all but fact. The fatigue, justified or not, isn't going to get any better.

Don't go by just today. This is no over reaction when you consider the last week or so.

I have no issue with the last week. I have an issue with the response today. When they leave it on the ice, I have no issue if they lose.

really ??? who doesn't know that ... Oh yah .. teams like the Penguins and the Redwings who seem to no matter what not really mail it in ... clearly this team isn't getting it done on the power play in previous games and we shouldn't even be worrying about the Islanders... but they've wasted points this past week... games they should have won...

Quit making excuses. This is a depleted team we're playing and our playoff lives are on the line. We're almost completely healthy; compared to the rest of the league.

I expected it to be tight, I didn't expect this ****ing goose egg.

I would recommend backing off; your timing is completely off.

And you do realize that with the exception of the rescheduled Dallas game, this schedule has been well known for about 8 months? This team doesn't have the luxury of taking games off because they are tired.

that's fair. I'm interpreting the "overreaction" criticism to be directed towards the negativity regarding playoff chances, which have cratered in the last week in spite of the efforts of the players over that span (except for today)
