  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Is there a stat that could show that? I understand advanced stats a bit but not enough to evaluate this.
I have no clue about fancy stats. Gru has to make a save for sure but the team effort in front of Gru is a bad joke and not for the first time.

That's a lot but I am 100% sure you have been following hockey lot longer than me .. LOL. I have 4 I think:

Pavs - Sharks
Pavs - US Olympics
Jumbo - Sharks
Grubauer

Looks like I have eleven:
Penguins old blue #3
Kraken Grubauer, Driedger, winter classic
Avalanche Chris Drury, TJ Galiardi
Canucks Kirk McLean
Nordiques Hextall
Colorado Rockies Hardy Astrom
US Olympics Sarah Tueting
Seattle Thunderbirds blank

And about three dozen of my old jerseys.

But I still wear those. Can't have too many goal cut jerseys.

Wright led forwards in TOI last night, I hope he does again tonight. Let's see Kakko, Beniers and Nyman (at least until they send him back to CV) #2 thru #4. The vets like McCann and Burakovsky dont like it? Waive your NTC and gtfo.

I have not checked the TOI for today yet, but my guess is no. Now if we were the ones up 3-0, I would say it was more likely than not. But not while we are this far behind.

Yeah the team D is garbage. I'm really curious what Francis is going to do about that.
This is baffling to me. I thought with the addition of Montour to our defense, probably our strong suit all things considered, we would be stronger this year. But with the possible exception of Mahura, everyone other D has regressed this year. It is hard to figure that one out.

I don’t mind nondescript players on mine - one of my favorites is my Ron Hextall Nordiques sweater.

I like to get jerseys right after a player leaves the team.

I’ve got a collection of jerseys. At least one of every team besides Dallas. My second Sabres jersey is an Eichel I bought the week he was traded away… for $14. I ended up with a Tanner Pearson Kings jersey too for $10. In fact, with the exception of the Kraken, every jersey I have with a player name was purchased at a steep discount immediately after they were traded or signed as a FA with a different team. My lone named player on a Kraken jersey is Eberle, the other two I have are blank.

I gotta get off the TNT feed, national broadcast crew reading talking points given to them by team marketing. Going on and on about what a great story Campbell is while the team plays like a dog's breakfast as a backdrop.

Crap. Don't remember who mentioned it here first, but we have talked about the fact that our D plays much worse as a sum of their parts. Now why is that? I have no idea.

Can you imagine how annoying it would be for fans of other teams? We are down 0-3 and they are talking about our coaching in a positive way.

To me, its positives are promoting women in sports and yeah, it is publicity for the Kraken.

They can take Dunn with them. I know he's supposed to be a good player but I'm so fed up seeing him "cheat" for offense/position.

At the risk of stirring up a hornet’s nest, the Kraken power play begs a question.
Can the Kraken let Campbell go? To be heralded for inclusivity for hiring the first female assistant coach and then fire her after one season would be a PR nightmare the front office would rather avoid.
Whether Campbell would get better results with better players is a moot point. Coaches have to devise systems for the players they have.

Yeah. Someone on the boards had mentioned that Dunn is pissed because we got Montour as our top D-man. I didn't give it much of a thought then but maybe there is some truth behind it. The way he is playing D (cheating for offense) certainly aligns with it.

I mean, I've felt like they needed to shift special teams responsibilities in some way, shape or form for the better part of most of the season. If they kept Campbell in some other capacity I'd love that, but this PP has been shambolic all season long and something has to change.

I may have speculated that, I dont know if someone else mentioned it. I obviously dont know one way or the other. His sharp decline in "f***s given" lines up pretty neatly with the larger team deciding collectively to take a massive dump around a month or so ago? He might be a part of that in the locker room? Who knows?

I wish I could never see Grubauer again, at least in a Kraken jersey. Every time I see he is starting, I figure, oh, no, another clown show. Is there a first-round tennis match in Sri Lanka available to watch instead? But, then, I feel disloyal, and tune in, and once every twenty-five times I'm awarded with a good game. But I just wish he would be waved to Columbus or San Jose or back to the minors or f***ing Barcelona for all I care, and I would never have to put up with him again.

Can't argue with the numbers, right. I mean we are dismal on the PP. PK isn't great either but better than the PP.

I want to see Campbell succeed and truth be told, if she was a man I would be less upset to see her go. Her making it big is something I would take a lot of joy in. Also, if they fired/replaced Campbell and only Campbell, it would not be a good PR look. Neither would be sending her back to the AHL or make her a NHL skating/conditional coach. I am not sure if I am being overly paranoid of firing Campbell but to me it seems to have a lot of repercussions. Maybe her fate is directly tied to Bylsma.

Wow. Tell us how you really feel about Grubauer? :D

His is the first Kraken jersey I bought. The only one I have. I will never get rid of it. But I sure as shit do not plan to ever wear that Jersey out in public.
