I don't blame Cheveldayoff for any of this. He got quality players. I can't fault him for anything other than the margins of the depth defending. I can't fault the coaching as much, but it's on them to ready the players for the game.

No. This stinker. The last 2 games. Entirely on the players getting high on their own supply. It really sucks when you don't have the skill to outplay a lack of effort. I acknowledge that they play a real high effort game. It's a lot of work to defend. They were really good at it. They aren't defending at all right now. It's f***ing pathetic. I can't think of a single player that showed up other than the third line for maybe 40 seconds.

They are a top 8 team, and nobody is a point per game. That means they have to defend. When you can't score, and you can't defend, you can't win. This team has first round exit written all over them.

Ya Toffoli is great when he scores, but he basically plays a 20ft game.

Isles and Devils need the points, Jets on cruise control. Washington needs the points too, we'll see how the Jets handle that tomorrow (probably not great).

Badly outplayed and outworked. Most jets are coasting towards pucks while the isles are skating until they get there, thus winning most 50/50 pucks. Our D is acting like the isles won’t bother forechecking.

This is pure lack of effort. The kind of game that makes me wonder about the intestinal fortitude of this team.

I laughed but then I remembered not all of us are in the Peg. It is nice and sunny here though.

First period and last game against the Devils is a concern but not because of the loss and possible loss this afternoon, it's the way this team is playing, they make the same mistakes over and over and nothing seems to get corrected out there

That's where I'm at. Honestly I'm not that concerned about the Jets right now.
